dc.description.abstractAll effective information design helps people to access, understand, and use information, but not all information design is intended to help people learn. This paper examines instructional design—the activity of creating and developing learning experiences that meet learners’ needs—and places it as a lens through which to identify the key skills and personal attributes that information designers need to succeed in their field.
