BACKGROUND AND AIMS Hope has been shown to be important for life after stroke 1. People with aphasia have reported that having a sense of hope is essential for the post-acute recovery period 2. This study aimed to explore hope at two timepoints in recovery: the post-acute period (3-6 months post stroke) and the chronic period (~18 months poststroke).Description
