This project is informed by notions of hybrid and fluctuating identity, transformations and disguises, and in equal parts by the creatures of fiction and the creativity of the biological real. My sculptures and installations reference this, as well as notions to do with relics, collections and a mysterious world of creaturely players. Supporting this is a focus on installation and on leveraging the power of the miniature to create sensuous affect. Miniature objects are juxtaposed with tiny sounds and oscillatory animations that simulate the living. Hidden in the scale of things between the micro and macro are a multitude of worlds.
