Abstract
This project explores how the use of a purpose-built software can improve visibility and usage in operating rooms in Auckland City Hospital. Using a design science approach an Angular application was developed as a replacement for an already existing manual system. It was found that the application developed increased visibility of information as well as saves time when reporting compared to the existing system. Although the software was completed as planned, for various reasons the client evaluation in normal use could not take place in the time frame of this masters. Further live testing is recommended in order to gain quantitative data in regards to increase in session usage.Description
