Wild Place is a junior middle-grade fiction fantasy story that follows the daring adventures of two ten-year-old friends after they get stuck on a magical island full of talking animals, whispering trees and creatures who look part human-part animal. A Teller's Story is the accompanying exegesis, which discusses how Wild Place came to be, and why certain elements in the story were chosen.
