| dc.description.abstract | This practice-led research project explores the potential of paper as a medium to communicate complex ideas and emotions. Through this exploration I will employ the notion of water as a conceptual lens through which I will consider ideas related to the small domestic space. The project work will not set out to overtly represent water but will be used as a way to imaginatively retreat from and respond to the small domestic space. Through these conceptual strategies I intend to test the way paper can be manipulated and question if it is able to communicate the subtle and complicated ideas which underpin this research. | en_NZ |
