Abstract
This study proposes that technology adoption be considered as a multi-stage process constituting several distinct stages. Using the Theory of Planned Behaviour (TPB), Ettlie’s adoption stages and by employing data gathered from 162 owners of Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs), our findings show that the determinants of the intention to adopt packaged software fluctuate significantly across adoption stages.Description
