Similarly, Chinese studies have traditionally tended to focus on Chinese culture. At present, most Chinese domestic research on traditional Chinese painting is in the stage of theoretical analysis, which lacks practice-led research, let alone practice-based responses. This research project aims to study the commonality of composition between Chinese and Western styles, conducting a large number of experimental analyses through combining Western and Chinese compositions.
