Using netnography of travel blogs, the research explores the internal and external factors influencing the women's travel decisions. The findings reveal that internal motivations, such as personal growth, self-discovery, and a desire for adventure, are paramount. External motivations include escaping routines, seeking new connections, and embracing independence. However, these aspirations are often met with significant constraints, including internal fears, societal pressures, and interpersonal and structural challenges. The study highlights the importance of addressing these constraints to enhance the travel experiences of solo female event attendees, especially to music events. Practical implications for the tourism industry include developing targeted travel packages, improving safety measures, and fostering a more inclusive environment for women at music events. This research contributes to the growing body of literature on solo female travellers, expanding our understanding of their motivations, experiences, and the unique challenges they encounter when planning or going to music events alone. It provides valuable insights for event organisers, policymakers, and tourism stakeholders, in creating a more welcoming and supportive environment for women who choose to travel independently to music events.enSolo Female Travellers to Events: A Critical Analysis of Their ConstraintsDissertationOpenAccess
