Abstract

IT management is a complex process involving multiple interdependencies. Chief Information Officers (CIOs) are required to comprehend and be aware potential risks in IT management processes. Risk analysis for decision making in the planning and monitoring of IT systems can be complex and a demanding task. Intelligent risk analysis and decision making in IT management are required for successful IT operations in an organization. This paper considers the implementation of a risk analysis and decision making system to provide facilities to capture and represent complex relationships in an IT management models. By using this approach CIOs can improve IT management processes by developing and assessing risk in scenarios.
